Hair dryer obsession

The ONLY way you will sleep for more than a few minutes is with the hair dryer on! I have photos to prove it because I don't know if you will believe me later on when I tell you. :) it is very loud but I'm willing to sleep next to a jet engine if it would help you sleep. (We even found an app that sounds like a hair dryer to help you) Mommy loves you!

Grammy to the rescue!

You were such a fussy little boy that I had to spend a few weeks at your Gammys house to get some help with you and catch up on sleep! Your Gammy and I have tried everything to make you happier, probiotics, the chiropractor, my diet, bedtime routine, swaddling, acid reflux medicine, gas drops, gripe water, and the list goes on! The past couple days I think you are finally starting to be happier! You have been smiling and laughing and snuggling and sleeping better at night for momma! Yay!

5 weeks old

You are 5 weeks old and your grandma and I had to go to the store today to buy you 6 month old size clothes! You are a healthy growing boy! You also started rolling over this week! Crazy! I'm so proud of you. Kisses, mommy.

Snuggles

Hello my ornery little boy. You certainly have an opinion about everything. How you are held, what you are facing, when you eat, how much you want to eat, when you want to be awake and when and how long you want to sleep. You let us all know what you want.
I have been enjoying pulling you into bed with me for early morning snuggles so we can both sleep in a bit longer.
Don't grow up too fast.

Bubble baths and baby acne

You and I are spending a couple weeks at your Gammys while daddy is away on business training. You are driving me nuts and I need sleep so your Gammy is helping me get some rest.
Your baby acne came in this week and I hope it doesn't last long. Gammy and I have been having fun giving you bubble baths every night to help you sleep.
Thank goodness for grandmas!!
You have really been smiling at me more and interacting with me. It is the best part of my day when you flash me a big 'ol smile and I know maybe I'm doing this whole mommy thing right.

Exhaustion

Well, we know you have healthy lungs. Your daddy and I know you don't mean to be so fussy but you really are. All day and all night, you only seem happy when you are eating. This could also be why you are only 3 weeks old and wearing 3 to 6 month old clothes. :) My dear sweet Weston, please oh please go to sleep.
